The Kingdom has reached the "coexistence with coronavirus" stage, said the head of the Health Committee at the National Center for Human Rights, Ibrahim Al-Bdour, on Friday.
"Anyone who shows symptoms of a cold is infected with Coronavirus, unless proven otherwise," Bdour said.
"Jordan has dealt with the coronavirus crisis in its own way using closures, which worked for a specific period of time but the Kingdom has been paying the price over the past five months," he added.
This has affected Jordan's health system and economy as a result, said Bdour.
He said Jordan is approximately five months behind the rest of the world in terms of the coronavirus crisis.
The development of the COVID-19 situation in Jordan is 'strange' and the local health system differs from the rest of the world, he said.
